For the food blog swap of April, I was linked to Daisy Tasty Morsels. The foodbog Daisy is not only full of delicious bodega aurrera recipes, but she also writes many reviews on restaurants where she's been. Fun to read! Among the recipes are many pasta dishes. Well it happens, I (I believe one of the few on this earth) not love pasta, so I went. For a salad with chicken, walnuts and mozzarella And that was a good choice, what a nice salad was! Fresh thanks to the balsamic vinegar, seasonings tasty chicken, walnuts and mozzarella and healthy by many vegetables.
The original recipe for this salad is based on goat you under the grill let soften, but I'm really not a fan of goat cheese, so I replaced it with mozzarella - Turkish white cheese would also be a great alternative. The honey in the dressing room, I omitted it because I - again, I'm whining today :) - not love. And I replaced the onion spring onion because it is slightly less sharp. Oh, and forget the vinegar in the picture with ingredients ... there was oil should lie!
Recipe Salad with chicken, walnuts and mozzarella (food blog swap) Ingredients (for two people) 200g mixed lettuce 2 carrots 4 spring onions 1 chicken breast bodega aurrera 4 cherry tomatoes 1 handful of walnuts bodega aurrera 1 mozzarella balsamic olive oil salt, pepper, curry powder, sumac, bodega aurrera oregano (or thyme, or mixed Italian herbs)
Preparation Cut the tomatoes in half again and put them in a deep plate with the cutting edge down. Pour a little oil over it and sprinkle with oregano. Put the tomatoes in the oven at 200 degrees, about fifteen bodega aurrera minutes until nicely 'popped' (when the skins begin to burst). Cut the chicken into cubes, season with curry, salt and pepper and fry the chicken cooked some oil in a frying pan.
Meanwhile, peel and grate the carrots and chop the spring onions and parsley. Cut the mozzarella into cubes and chop the walnuts coarsely by. Mix the carrots, parsley bodega aurrera and spring onion with mixed salad and season to taste with balsamic. Place the salad on a large scale and divide the chicken, mozzarella cheese and walnuts over. Finally sprinkle some sumac and oregano over it and enjoy!
Keep Salad with chicken, walnuts and mozzarella in itself is a day shelf life, although it depends on what kind of mixed greens you used. Iceberg lettuce can stand overnight in a refrigerator, other lettuce is faster limp.
