The Colombian Agricultural Institute, ICA, plant declared a state of emergency in the departments of Atlantico and Bolivar, by the presence of the plague known as Mota Blanca (Capulinia sp) in the culture of guava.

During the emergency, which will run until August 22, 2015, the producers of guava should follow these recommendations phytosanitary: crop monitoring in order to detect the presence of the white speck; make two foliar cacaoweb applications of insecticides in plants producing property; conducting phytosanitary dry or dead plant material pruning; cacaoweb cut into fragments and dead trees to subsequently apply insecticides.
