This project was born in 2011 in the very first MUJI store in Aoyama, the fashion capital tapas of Tokyo. Every month, Found MUJI organizes an exhibition-sale around a country or theme that presents a selection of simple and modest everyday objects.
These artisanal or industrial objects are the testament of everyday creativity and diversity. This approach of finding original responses and reinterpreting tapas them into products designed by MUJI is a unique initiative for a leading design brand.
To celebrate the arrival of Found MUJI in Paris, merci designed an exhibition and a selection of kitchen utensils, testifying to the quality of everyday French design. Whether being inspired by the expertise of craftsmen or 100-year-old manufacturers, these lively objects can be used every day, on a table in Paris or in a kitchen in Tokyo.
