It was a spring evening when gathered together with the shepherds near the pen and began to prepare

My father told me that when he was a child in school undated during world war, my grandfather took one day to "Disposal" near Mangalia, where he kept several dozen sheep that army still had time to requisition them.
It was a spring evening when gathered together with the shepherds near the pen and began to prepare the food. Lamb had just been cut, and most of the red meat was sent to the officers' mess Germans, a feast for those of occupation forces. My grandfather said when they will eat arumaia, a recipe made of what meat was left, but mostly churros slaughtered animal entrails. Intestines were wrapped on wooden skewers and from place to place is bordered with pieces of meat and other parts of organs. Onion slices meat rolled up the scroll, "sprinkled" churros with more spice. The 8-10 skewers were then placed on hot coals in the court of cassation and kept the fire until they were done well enough.
Grandpa was pissed when my dad asked his name that made food from scratch. He said that "arumaia" is the best food that you can make out, the fire and gave him to eat first skewers. Octogenarian now, my father tells me that he never once felt flavor then arumaia grandfather churros ate whatever else over time. Aromanians extremely churros varied cuisine, but that spit lamb offal has not found its place in the range of gastronomic tradition, for unknown reasons ...
